Christmas is Here...

I just love the feel of the holidays. Everything looks so festive and happy, the air is crisp and clean, I just adore it.

This past weekend was very busy for us. We went to Ikea for black friday - which turned out to be not so good because they have maybe 5 items on sale and that's it. Nevertheless, my boyfriend's getting a new computer so we needed a new desk.

After that, thanksgiving was over and so we decided to decorate our apartment welcoming the Christmas season. I love decorating the Christmas tree, its just so fun - granted I sometimes get too OC and shoo-ed away my boyfriend because he didn't put the angel ornament high enough - but its all in the name of good holiday decoration. =)

From this comparison video, the BlackBerry Playbook does seem to perform better than the iPad.

However, the person making the comparison work for RIM, so who knows...

It's very intriguing though.

Winter Fashion from Japan

Well... Japanese magazines, that is... 

I love looking through Japanese and Korean magazines. There's really a different vibe being given by Asian magazines - more fun and quirky. Not to say that they lack of content, but they just make the pages more colorful and fun - like something you would make yourself if you were to put a personal look book.

Oh, and let's not forget their odd ball advertisements... lunchbox anyone? ♥

New Rakku Design: Iglu Shoes and Handbag Storage

Remember the Rakku shoe wheel? I was so amazed with it that I literally obsess and at one point have dreamt about them. I finally gave in and bought myself one and its been great with keeping my shoes organized - or in the least keep tons of my shoes in a very small contained space.

Now, Rakku is back with new organization genius! Behold the Iglu shoes and handbag storage.

 This is just a real genius. This system comprises of these individual cases that you can snap together to build into something that you can either hang in your closet, lay flat on shelves, or put on top of a wheel (can be bought from Rakku as well).

The cases are transparent so you can see into them. As you know - out of sight, out of mind! So this is perfect, you can see everything so you get more use out of your things.

These cases can expand or contract. So its good when you have some closet space - but not a lot of closet space. It'll contract to fit the size of the shoes or handbag to save more space.

They can be built and snapped vertically to be hanged or placed over the door

Or built horizontally so you can lay it flat on shelves or on top of a rolling stand.

The Iglu Shoes and Handbag system costs $52.00 and it will come with a set of six cases with the metal hangers - pretty hefty for me... BUUT then again, isn't this just awesome and can save so much space in your closet and de-clutter your floor, PLUS it looks pretty!

H&M + Lanvin ... I love it too!

The Lanvin X H&M full lookbook of the collection is all over the blogosphere today! Personally, I like the collection… not for everything but for most of it. I can see maybe the die hard fashionistas wearing the more outrageous designed dress - I don’t think I personally can carry that outfit. =)

My most favorite is the skirt and the one-shoulder dresses, PLUS the Shoes! I LOVE the shoes!

However, looking back to the first video that came out with the designers talking about the collection and the collaboration - they mentioned something about the reason why they finally agreed with doing the collaboration is because both parties agreed that the label will not sell their pieces for a cheaper price - rather just to reach a wider scope of audience… and boy they weren’t kidding.

I don’t think I can afford more than 2 pieces in this collections. Nevertheless, I’m sure there will be people camping out in droves outside H&M stores coming November 23rd.

From Blogger to Tumblr to Blogger Again

Alright alright... I'm coming back to Blogger...

My decision was mostly based on Blogger having more compatibility with other sites and widgets to enhance the blog itself. Also, it seems Tumblr is geared towards a more one or two liner type of posts...

However, as I'm writing this I already feel like I miss Tumblr... its just more fun over there and Tumblr has made me update my blog more frequently than here on Blogger...


To compromise, I am keeping both of my accounts. Ugh.. so fickle minded

I'm starting to move some of the posts I made on Tumblr here...
